HOW CAN I EXPECT AFTER BOOKING?

Once your booking is confirmed, I will email over location and wardrobe recommendations, a curated list of "Add-On" items to elevate your shoot, as well as a Hawai'i Dining and Activity guide.

1-2 days prior to your shoot, a confirmation notification will go out, confirming the date, time, location, arrival instructions and any remaining payment information.

The day of your session, I will double-check the weather and tide information for your chosen location. At that point, I will pull the beach permit and confirm your session again to make sure everything is great on your end! You'll arrive at your destination at the previously discussed time. We will have a few minutes for meet & greet, and go over any questions you may have, and then it is time to get started!!

Upon booking, I provide a Hawai'i Travel Guide; An insiders guide to "Must-see" sites, adventures and local food recommendations.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTO GALLERY?

For most sessions, your photos will be available within two weeks after your photo shoot. Allow extra time during high season, or for longer or specialty requests. *Upon request, I can send you a sneak peek within 48 hours after your shoot!

HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO MY PHOTOS?

You will receive your photos in a private, online gallery. Depending on the package you purchased, that will determine how many photos you will receive in total and how many you will have complimentary download access to. All images will be professionally edited with my style of "vibrant" natural edits. The digital photos are high-resolution JPEGS and accessible to download with your unique password. Your gallery will also be easy to share on social media or with friends and family if you wish.

WHAT IF I REQUEST RETOUCHING FOR MY ENTIRE GALLERY OR SELECT IMAGES?

Any additional retouching edits can be requested, however there will be an additional charge.

WHAT IF I WANT TO DOWNLOAD MORE IMAGES THEN MY PACKAGE INCLUDES?

Most of my clients absolutely love ALL their images, so they prefer to download more then what's included in their package. Any additional images can be purchased and downloaded at $2.99 per image, or If you’d like to purchase the entire gallery with unlimited access, I offer a bundle price of $100.

HOW DO I ORDER PRINTS?

One-click ordering is available for high-quality prints and professional products directly from your online gallery. Gallery orders can be shipped anywhere in the United States and Canada. For other countries, email me at carenaleighphotography@gmail.com

RAW FILES

The services that I provide include taking the photos and providing a fully edited and completed gallery as a final product. That is what is agreed upon via contract. To match and maintain the consistency of my brand, via web, print, social media, ect; no raws files will be distributed to the client. An unedited image is not a good representation of my brand nor does it represent the full service I provide.

DO I HAVE RIGHTS TO MY PHOTOS?

Carena Leigh Photography gives clients unlimited license to use, share and print their images, but a client cannot sell or give rights to a third party.

HOW DO I SHARE MY PHOTOS WITH OTHERS?

Your online gallery will have a URL that you can share with friends and family. Share your password with anyone you wish to give them access to download your images. Anyone can order prints directly from your gallery.

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

I shoot a combination of documentary-style photography and posed portraiture. I want to tell the story of your session, capturing genuine moments and candid interactions, with a few posed close-ups in-between. I can give as little or as much direction as you want, most of my clients ask for some direction throughout the shoot. The end result is a blended collection of candid and posed portraits of your experience.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes! I love to travel for my clients! I’m currently based in Kaua’i, and frequently travel to the mainland or throughout the Hawaiian Islands! Whether its a breathtaking destination wedding, romantic couple portraits, family photos, a sunset proposal, or dreamy photoshoot under the sea, I will be there!

DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?

Hawaii does not offer studio locations. I do however have studio access on the mainland if your shoot is in Orange County, CA. I work from a home office, which allows me to keep costs down for my clients, while truly providing a unique photography experience every session.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Yes! I have insurance for peace of mind for both my clients and myself. I am also registered with the Hawaii DLNR to easily pull beach permits for portrait sessions and events. The type of insurance I have also allows me to access many resorts and venues in Hawaii, including 1 Hotel, Four Seasons Resort, Kukio Golf & Beach Club, Mauna Kea Resort, Mauna Lani Resort, Marriott and more!
