| Carena Leigh Phillips was born and raised in Ventura, California. Her love of photography stemmed from her love of the ocean, as her earliest photos were life at the beach. Her company, “Carena Leigh Photography” (CLP) grew originally out of a passion for surf photography. She would spend everyday down at the beach, taking surf photos of her friends and locals. Surfer and Surfing Magazine contracted her as a staff photographer in early 2008, where she covered all the orange county events and contests. Several of her photos were published in the 2008-2009 issues of Surfer Magazine. Surf photography opened the door for her to other X-treme sports photography. She worked with companies like Skateboarder Magazine which allowed her to expand her company into other areas of expertise. She also provided extensive portrait and action photography for clientele such as, The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and Metric Method Cycles. CLP has done everything from sports photography to special events as well as family photos. Carena Leigh has a passion for photography that transcends through each aspect of her work. Carena Leigh Photography has been in business since 2006, and is based in Brea, California. |
